One of the primary challenges of  Web Application Security is the protection and assurance of the integrity of Web sites that deliver valuable, vitally important content in standardized, often-regulated ways to very large customer constituencies; Lets Imagine that a cyber criminal has chosen a Web application such as a financial or ecommerce application which contains Web forms for the user to complete. The cyber attacker begins to manipulate the values supplied to the form fields with the intent of uncovering information about the application and how to exploit it.
Hackers have proven they can gain access to even the best protected corporate and commercial websites; In 2011 nearly four million pages of web sites running oscommerce got hacked. SySmox were designed to detect and prevent attacks.

Badware glossary

404 error page: A 404 error page is what appears in a web browser when a user attempts to access a website that does not exist. Unlike DNS error pages, these pages are generated by websites themselves, not by the user’s browser. As a result, they are much more difficult for programs to alter.
